D C Norris VJ Cooler - Glycol Jacketed Cooling Vessel
D C Norris glycol jacketed cooling vessels are designed for the cooling of a wide range of food products, including soups, stews, sauces and preserves and can be integrated with a range of other equipment including D C Norris kettles, vacuum trolleys and brat pans.
The vessel and all of its components are manufactured in the UK.
Standard sizes range from 600 to 1200 litres, custom sizes made to order (for smaller transportable vessels please take a look at our DA Cooler)
Glycol jacket with 1.5 bar working pressure and special open flow design to give ultimate cooling performance
Vessel is capable of taking a vacuum to allow loading of product without the need for transfer pumps
Manufactured in stainless steel grade 316 for all food contact parts and type 304 for all other parts
Designed and tested to PD5500 standards
Insulated and stainless steel sheathed and supported on four legs
Standard internal sanitary finish ground and smooth.
External surfaces have a semi-deluxe buff finish (or to customers specification)
Inclined product zone with scraping surface type variable speed agitator fitted with replaceable food approved plastic blades
Full diameter, counter balanced, domed tilting lid for complete access to product zone
A fixed lid design with manway incorporating CIP cleaning (option)
